I’ve spent more than 30 years helping individuals and families make informed, confident financial decisions. My career began in 1991 when I earned my insurance license, followed by Series 7, 63, 65, and 66 registrations (currently held with LPL Financial) in 1997.

Before founding Essential Wealth Planning, I served in the U.S. Air Force on active duty and in the Air National Guard. That experience shaped my approach to planning — disciplined, steady, and focused on preparation.

Over the years, I’ve built a practice focused on clarity, practicality, and longterm relationships — not sales pressure or complexity.

I hold the ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant) designation from The American College and am currently pursuing the RICP® (Retirement Income Certified Professional) designation, expected in March 2026. I stay committed to ongoing professional development to ensure clients receive guidance that’s both current and grounded in realworld experience.

My work centers on teachers, nurses, and young professionals who want straightforward guidance, a clear plan, and a trusted partner to help them stay organized and make decisions with confidence. I believe financial planning should be simple, transparent, and tailored to the realities of everyday life.

My Background and Experience

  • 30+ years in financial services
  • Licensed in insurance since 1991
  • Series 7, 63, 65, 66 registrations since 1997
  • ChFC® designation
  • RICP® in progress (expected March 2026)
  • Extensive experience in modular planning, retirement strategies, and client education
  • Known for breaking down complex topics into clear, actionable steps

I’ve built my practice around listening first, explaining clearly, and helping clients take the next right step — one conversation at a time.

Who I Serve

I work with people who care deeply about their work, their families, and their futures:

  • Teachers
  • Nurses
  • Young Professionals (20s–40s)

If you’re looking for clarity, structure, and a plan that fits your life, you’re in the right place.

A Bit About Me

Outside of work, I’m active in my community and spend a lot of time officiating youth soccer — a role that keeps me grounded, patient, and connected. I value staying active, staying curious, and staying engaged with the people around me. Those same values shape how I work with clients.
