Advisory Services

Ongoing Investment Management

Advisory services provide disciplined, long-term investment management and ongoing support for your accounts.

This service is separate from Planning & Consulting.

Advisory focuses on your portfolio.

Planning focuses on your financial life.

Each has its own fee structure.

What Advisory Includes

  • Portfolio construction, implementation, and rebalancing

  • Risk profiling and investment objective assignment

  • Asset location for tax-aware efficiency

  • RMD support and beneficiary updates

  • Account setup, transfers, and ongoing maintenance

  • Investment-focused reviews and education

What Advisory Does Not Include

Advisory does not include financial planning. Planning is always a separate, billable engagement.

Examples of planning topics billed separately:

  • Retirement income planning
  • Social Security and pension analysis
  • Cashflow and savings structure
  • Taxaware withdrawal planning
  • Insurance review
  • College planning
  • Scenario analysis
  • “Am I on track?” reviews

If you want planning, we engage Planning & Consulting.

If you want investment management, we engage Advisory.

If you want both, you engage both.

How Advisory Works

  1. Discovery Meeting (no cost): We discuss your goals and determine whether advisory is a good fit.
  2. Planning First (when needed): If planning is required to clarify your goals or retirement strategy, we complete that work first. Planning is always billed separately.
  3. Onboarding & Implementation: We set up your accounts, establish your investment objective, and implement your portfolio.
  4. Ongoing Partnership: You receive continuous investment management and account support throughout the year.

Advisory Fees

Advisory fees are based on your household’s needs, the level of service required, and the complexity of your financial situation. Fees are competitive, transparent, and discussed during the Design Meeting.

Planning fees are always separate.

Who Advisory Is For

Advisory is a good fit if you want:

  • Professional portfolio management
  • A long-term investment partner
  • Ongoing monitoring and rebalancing
  • Support with account maintenance and RMDs
  • Investment-focused reviews throughout the year
